Pozole is a type of Mexican soup. The characteristic feature of this dish is that the corn kernels are previously boiled for several hours in a weak lime solution. 1)

Gazpacho is a popular Spanish cold soup that usually consists of raw vegetables, vinegar, and olive oil with the addition of softened bread. The most common variety is the Andalusian, based on tomatoes, preferably very ripe and soft, to which vinegar, olive oil, garlic, paprika, green cucumber, and bread are usually added. 4)


Czernina is a traditional Polish soup. The basic ingredients are broth and blood, usually from a duck or hen. To prevent the blood from clotting, vinegar and sugar are added, giving the soup a sweet and sour taste. 5)
