Hollywood - a district of the city of Los Angeles in the United States and the most important center of American cinematography. The word Hollywood is used as an abbreviation for the American film and television industry regardless of where it is shot.

Hollywood was a small community in 1870 and was renamed a community in 1903. In 1910, Hollywood was officially incorporated into Los Angeles and the film industry started to develop there soon after.¹⁾
