Franklin's Death

After GTA V was released, hackers soon dug into the game's code and found a range of features that were ultimately stripped from the finished product. One such discovery was that Franklin was meant to die in the original final mission if the player wanted the canon ending, C (Death Wish), allowing Lamar to take his place on the character wheel for the rest of the player's time with the campaign. 3)

Niko and The Henchman

If you think Niko Bellic, the protagonist of GTA IV, is a truly original character, you're wrong. Niko was highly inspired by Vladimir Mashkov's henchman character Sasha from the 2001 Owen Wilson-starring action film Behind Enemy Lines. Mashkov was asked about voicing Niko, but he refused. 4)

Steven Ogg Method Acting

Steven Ogg (who voiced Trevor in GTA V) allegedly filmed some of his lines in his underwear to get into character for the role, proving that method acting isn't just for movie stars. 5)
