Despite being one of the most well-known X-Men today, Wolverine had his comic book debut as a villain in a 1974 issue of The Incredible Hulk. When the Hulk crosses into Canada, the Royal Canadian Air Force thinks it's time to deploy “Weapon X” to deal with him. 1)
Origins, a six-issue series written by Paul Jenkins, ultimately revealed Wolverine's canonical history, which has since been expanded upon in other comics. Born James Howlett, he was a sickly youngster who discovered his abilities after a guy called Logan (who also happened to be his true father) shot and killed the man James mistook for his father. He took the name Logan after being driven into a rage that forced him to lose control. 2)
Wolverine is well-known for his healing abilities, which have protected him from succumbing to the light on several occasions. He's survived an atomic bomb, a steamroller, and even been torn in half by The Incredible Hulk. 3)
Wolverine was meant to make a cameo in 2012's Spider-Man, but he didn't since they misplaced his outfit. 4)
Wolverine is really impervious to most poisons and drugs, including alcohol, because to his healing talent. It is practically hard for him to become inebriated. 5)
