This strange sport, also known as 'punkin chunkin', allows players to use a handmade mechanical mechanism to hurl a pumpkin into the sky as far as possible. The devices produced also differ considerably from one participant to the next and include giant catapults, slingshots, trebuchets, pneumatic cannons, bolt throwers, and centrifugals. ¹⁾
