Nickelodeon, usually known as Nick, is a cable television channel located in the United States that focuses on children's programs. It is one of the highest-rated networks in cable television history. ¹⁾

On December 1, 1977, the station debuted as Pinwheel, broadcasting educational programming from throughout the world for 12 hours a day, without advertising. After rebranding as Nickelodeon in 1979, the station increased its original programming offering. ²⁾
