Krakatau is a volcanic island located in the Sunda Strait, between the islands of Sumatra and Java in Indonesia. The island is an active volcano, and its eruption in 1883 was probably the loudest sound in human history. ¹⁾

Puncak Jaya (Carstensz Pyramid) is a peak in the Snowy Mountains on New Guinea, the highest peak in Indonesia, all of Australia, and Oceania, and the highest peak in the world lying on an island. Jaya has an elevation of 4884 m above sea level. The peak was named after the Dutch explorer John Carstensz, who spotted a glacier on the mountain in 1623. The pyramid was climbed as the penultimate peak from the Crown of the Earth (1962). ²⁾

The Moluccas are a group of islands in the eastern part of the Malay Archipelago, part of Indonesia. For hundreds of years, they have been an important growing region for plants providing spices such as pepper and nutmeg. They were the main target of Ferdinand Magellan's expedition, which ended up with the first circumnavigation of the globe. ³⁾

Rotang, rattan (from Malay rotan) is a generic term for many species of climbing palms from the areca family, found in tropical forests of Southeast Asia, and also the raw material obtained from them is used mainly in braiding. The most important plant genera referred to by the Malay name Rotan are Calamus, Daemonorops, and Korthalsia. ⁴⁾

Prambanan is a Hindu temple complex located in Indonesia on the island of Java. It was built in the 9th century to commemorate the victory of Rakai Pikatana ruler Sanya over Balaputra the last ruler of Sailendra. The temple complex was dedicated to the Trimurti, the Hindu trinity of gods: the creator Brahma, the protector Vishnu and the destroyer Shiva. It was forgotten until 1811 when a British surveyor came across it. ⁵⁾
