Game of Thrones, produced by David Benioff and D, is an American fantasy drama television series by B. Weiss on HBO. It is an adaptation of George R. R. Martin's “A Song of Ice and Fire,” a series of fantasy novels, the first of which is “A Game of Thrones.” The show was filmed in the United Kingdom, Canada, Croatia, Iceland, Malta, Morocco and Spain. It premiered in the United States on HBO on April 17, 2011, and concluded with 73 episodes transmitted over eight seasons on May 19, 2019. 1)

It was the most pirated show

Game of Thrones was the most pirated TV series of all time, reaching all possible ratings. The show was illegally downloaded from torrent sites by a large number of individuals. Game of Thrones has topped the list of the most pirated shows for many years in a row. 2)

HBO sells the Iron Throne

For $30,000 (height: 7 '2“; weight: 350 pounds), the show's directors sell replicas of the original Iron Throne. Terrific! Fantastic! Anyone will feel like the Seven Kingdoms King now.3)

Budget

It cost between $50 million and $60 million for the first season of Game of Thrones” or anything north of $5 million on average per episode. That's a lot for a TV show right now—but HBO has blown past that number and picked up a Season 6 bill of more than $100 million. You will see where on the screen the additional funding has gone.4)

Ramin Djawadi

The composer of the soundtrack, Djawadi came to Hans Zimmer's attention after graduating from Berklee College of Music, resulting in him being recruited to Zimmer's Remote Control Productions. As a result, Djawadi contributed to both Pirates of the Caribbean: The Black Pearl's Curse and Something's Gotta Give, as well as System Shock 2. 5)
