NFL
National Football League (abbreviated: NFL, National Football League) is the largest professional American football league, consisting of 32 teams. The league was founded in 1920 as the American Professional Football Association and changed to its current name two years later. 1)
NFL Teams
They are divided into the NFC and the AFC conferences. There are 4 divisions of 4 teams in each conference. 2)
Games
Every team in the NFL plays 16 games and has a bye week. The top six teams qualify into the playoffs after those 16 games. 3)
Actual Play Time
Typically a NFL game lasts 3 hours and 12 minutes, but the gameplay amounts to 11 minutes if you add up the time that the ball is actually in play due to all breaks and commercials. 4)
