Fidel Castro Survived 638 Assassination Attempts

Interesting fact 1).

Fidel Castro, one of the icons of communism, came to power in Cuba in 1959 as a result of a coup d'état, together with his brother Paul and the famous Ernesto “Che” Guevara, overthrowing the right-wing regime of President Fulgencio Batista. El Commendante was sentenced to death by the CIA. The shocking number of 638 assassinations is estimated by Fabian Escalante, who was Fidel Castro's bodyguard for some time. He foiled many of them and even wrote a book on the subject, and Channel 4 television made a documentary about the attacks. We know about some of the trials thanks to declassified documentaries during Bill Clinton's presidency.
