Coca-Cola was invented by John Stith Pemberton in the late 19th century. Afterward, it was bought out by Asa Griggs Candler, a brilliant businessman, whose marketing tactics led Coca-Cola to its dominant position in the world soft drink market. ¹⁾

The color of Coca-Cola is called caramel E-150d. It is manufactured by heating carbohydrates, either alone or in the presence of acids. ²⁾
